Dal powder is well traditional delicacy of Andhra Pradesh. Well known as poppula podi or chenagala podi .it is also well known in Tamil nandu as parupu podi . It is mildly spiced generally consumed with hot rice and ghee ,but it can also be consumed with idly and dosa .it can also be used as seasoning on salads and stir fries.
